WE LOVE BIKES

THE JURASSIC CLASSIC MOUNTAIN BIKE FESTIVAL IS

A FUNDRAISER FOR THE LANDER CYCLING CLUB

Jurassic Classic Mountain Bike Festival

The Lander Cycling Club

Since 2008 The Lander Cycling Club has been Sharing the Joy of Cycling with the Community! We want to make it easier for riders of all ages and abilities to get out there and ride! We believe that bikes represent freedom and provide endless opportunities for connection. Everyone is welcome!

OUR GOALS FOR JURASSIC CLASSIC

Trail development

Give back to your trail systems by contributing a little sweat before riding at JBR on Sunday. Funds raised from the festival directly benefit the growth of our trails and cycling efforts made by our very own Lander Cycling Club.

learn new skills

Every year we provide opportunities to improve upon MTB skills via skills clinics with certified instructors and casual group rides with folks who built and know the goods in the area. We want to continue providing an economic boost to our community by opening doors for locals and visitors.

fun for all

Enjoy live music under the stars, join group rides for all ages and abilities, meet likeminded riders, shuttle our best section of downhill with new friends and neighbors, and play games! We love sharing the joy of biking with the community!

The Lander Cycling Club is a nonprofit organization based in Lander, Wyoming located at the foothills of the Wind River Mountain Range. Giving back to the community through grant-funded projects, equipment, and volunteer hours are our top priorities. Our goal is to create a cycling-friendly community.

History of the Jurassic Classic

The Jurassic Classic started as a mountain bike race in 2012. As we have grown and evolved, we’ve dialed in on the festival atmosphere and created more fun, more games, more competitions and ramped up the ridiculousness. While we’re serious about developing and maintaining trails, putting Strider Bikes in our elementary schools, providing a fleet of MTBs for our middle school and increasing year round riding access, we try not to take ourselves too seriously. We put fun having at the top of our list during the festival and we’ve made a ton of friends in the process. Thanks for joining us!

We’ve been perfecting the fun for years. bring your friends and join the party!
